Most people go to Ikea to buy furniture and other utilities. There is a vast selection of handy products at the gigantic Swedish store, after all.
But some visit Ikea for more unique reasons, like trying the “famous” Swedish Meatballs, for example… or maybe for masturbating. Yes, you read that right, the latter happened recently at one of the stores in China.
Police were called to the scene – and now Ikea are distancing themselves from the incident.
Many people go to Ikea for the experience. Inspiring Scandinavian design and comfortable lighting is way better than a Saturday at a noisy shopping center. But while most people feel moderate enthusiasm, there are those who get a bit too excited when they enter the furniture store.
Masturbating – in the middle of a crowd
For some, apparently, it’s sexually arousing.
A woman was recently caught half-naked masturbating openly in the sofa and bed section at an Ikea store in China, reports the Daily Mail.
In a clip that spread on social media like wildfire, you could see this person pleasing herself in the middle of a considerable crowd. The video has been taken down since then, but the odd situation had already exploded online.
The store staff contacted the local authorities. Ikea have also, through a spokesperson, distanced themselves from the strange event by dismissing it as a very rare occurence.
Should not be repeated
The Swedish furniture giant announced that they will increase their security, so this kind of incident doesn’t happen again.
We all know someone who’s a bit too passionate about furniture, but that it could get to the point of sexual arousal – I could have never imagined.
