Living in an apartment has a lot of advantages. Neighbors are always close by if you need help, most chores are automated for the whole building, and the rent is lower than living in a house
However, one clear disadvantage is that you live very close to other people, and the walls are not as thick as they should, which causes a lot of embarrassing and annoying situations.
19-year-old Jenna Levine recently experienced this, when one night she couldn’t sleep because of her neighbors’ loud… intercourse.
As it was a delicate and embarrassing subject, Jenna decided to ask her neighbors to turn it down maturely and politely. But she didn’t expect to get an answer so fast…
19-year-old Jenna Levine was studying at Syracuse University in New York – one afternoon, in the middle of the week, she was trying to nap, but thanks to her neighbors’ “activities”, she wasn’t able to fall asleep.

She, therefore, decided to write a note and slip it under the neighbors’ door. In the note, she politely asked them to lower the volume a bit.
”Hello neighbor,
Please have sex a little more quietly please some of us are trying to nap
and not be reminded how alone I am…
Feel free to make all the love you want. Just please,
make it nasty at a lower volume.

Shortly thereafter, Jenna heard paper noise. Surprisingly, she found a quick answer had been left under her door.
“So so incredibly sorry…”
It was from the neighbors – Her first thought was that their answer would be rude and unpleasant.

So imagine her surprise when she instead got a big chocolate bar and an apology letter!

The letter, in the most polite way, said:
”Dearest neighbors,
I’m so so incredibly sorry about that.
I didn’t realize how loud I was being, and ya know, sometimes having loud sex is low key kinda hot, but obviously it was at your cost, which I apologize so sincerely for.
I’m so so sorry, I hope this hasn’t occurred too often, and thanks so much for the incredible and hilarious card.
I will for sure try to make nasty at a significantly lower level.
And hey, don’t you worry, you’re not alone forever. The right person will come along when the time comes.

Wow, what a hilarious, yet heartwarming situation!
After the incident, Jenna uploaded the pictures on Twitter and got a lot of attention online. However, if Jenna ever had any more sleeping problems, we don’t know.
