However, the fact is that your favorite drink can actually say something about you. According to a new study, Gin drinkers actually look sexier to their peers.
There are probably many of us who love to drink some cold Gin and Tonic every now and then.
Good weather comes and goes so fast (especially here up north) that it is essential to take advantage of it while it lasts – and there is nothing wrong with that.
Sexier – and a bit more aggressive
You probably never thought about it, but it seems that your favorite drink to cool off with during a warm day can say something about you as a person.
A study conducted by researchers at Bangor University and King’s College London, shows that gin lovers are considered sexier by people around them than, for example, wine or beer drinkers.
The survey involved over 30,000 people from 21 different countries. The participants had to answer questions about drinking habits and how they view the company they drink with.
In addition to being sexier, GNT drinkers also seem to be a bit more aggressive, according to Unilad.
Wine lovers enjoy life
“Understanding emotions associated with alcohol consumption is imperative to addressing alcohol misuse, providing insight into what emotions influence drink choice between different groups in the population,” the researchers wrote in the MBJ Open Journal.
The same study showed that people who prefer a glass of wine or a cold beer come across as life-lovers to their surroundings.
Drink in moderation
Research like this should perhaps always be taken with a pinch of salt, but it is still interesting to know how you are perceived by those you sit with, depending on what you drink.
