Most couples dream of having children. For some it is easy, for others, it requires a few more tries, a doctor’s help, or even more complex treatments and procedures.
However, most people know how to get pregnant – and the basics of sex are something we learn in school.
However, if you do not have the right knowledge, but still want to have children, it can make things extra complicated.
Just ask the young married couple from China who for four whole years struggled to conceive a child. They had sex often and could not understand what was preventing them from getting pregnant, reports the Daily Mail.
She was still a virgin
In the end, they went to a gynecologist to get help with their intimate problem – which was also worrying the couple’s relatives.
The doctor did several tests, but all the results were positive. However, the wife admitted that sex was often painful for her – and after a lengthy examination the doctor discovered that the woman was, surprisingly, still a virgin.
It turns out that the couple had only had anal sex. They simply thought that this was the way to go.
“Four years of marriage and neither the husband nor wife knew how to get pregnant. Couples so lacking in general knowledge are very rare” Dr. Liu Hongmei told the news site.
Couples are grateful
She, therefore, sent the couple home with some much-needed information about sex and pregnancy. Thankfully, it wasn’t long before the wife was pregnant with their first child.
The new parents-to-be were so grateful for the doctor’s help that they sent her a hen and 100 fresh eggs as a gift, reports the Guiyang Evening Post.
“The couple’s infertility was a big source of stress for them,” says Liu Hongmei.
