Amanda, 45, married a 300-year-old pirate ghost – now they have separated: “Nothing to mess with”

Breaking up with someone is always rough. It’s not fun for any of the parties, but hopefully, something will come out of it all – and you can move on to happier days and look forward to what’s next.

Usually, however, a relationship involves two people, but not always.

People magazine, who interviewed Amanda Teague, 45 – an Irish woman, that back in 2018, married a 300-year-old pirate ghost named Jack.

She made sure that the wedding took place aboard a boat out on international waters on the coast of Ireland. This way, the wedding became legally valid, according to Little Things.

The 45-year-old woman hired a medium that took part in the wedding ceremony conducted by a shaman priest. But now, less than a year later, Amanda reveals that the relationship is over.

They met in 2014

“It’s time to let everyone know that my marriage is over,” wrote the woman on Facebook, according to Irish Mirror. “I will explain all in due course but for now all I want to say is be VERY careful when dabbling in spirituality, it’s not something to mess with…”

Amanda has previously explained that she and the pirate ghost met in 2014 when Jack appeared next to her when she was lying in bed.

“He is dark-skinned and has jet-black hair, so he tells me,” she said. “I told him I wasn’t really cool with having casual sex with a spirit and I wanted us to make a proper commitment to each other. I wanted the big traditional wedding with the white dress. It was very important to me.”

Have stolen energy

Amanda, who after the marriage changed surname to Sparrow Large, tells Inside Edition what lies behind the separation:

“I wish I never got married to him. I wish I was that healthy person that I was before I met him,” she said in her first interview since the announcement. “Jack has turned what was a beautiful and loving relationship to something that is ugly,” says Amanda, who also claims her pirate ghost husband has stolen energy from her.
