When you see something, at first glance, it may appear completely normal – but when you take a closer look, surprising and interesting details (sometimes scary) can emerge.
Over the years, we’ve seen plenty of evidence of these kinds of pictures. Things like tricky optical illusions, or visual puzzles, have long fascinated humanity.
This may also be why these challenges usually spread like wildfire online.
One of the most famous pictures online, in the last few years, looks like an ordinary family photo. A Mom and dad with their four kids are sitting on a couch looking at the camera, pretty normal – however, there is something super weird with this photo.
A strange detail in the photo
Although everything looks natural, something is very wrong. But it is difficult to see it at first glance – that’s the whole point of the challenge. Find what’s wrong.
I myself had to take a long look before I figured out what was going on – but once I saw the strange detail, I couldn’t stop myself from laughing. Even if it’s also a bit scary.

Look at that! A seventh person is buried under everyone.
We have to assume that the family is fully aware of this, otherwise, it is probably time to burn that haunted place to the ground and run away!
Probably they are just having fun, but it remains unclear who the person under the family is. What we can say, however, is that he or she probably wanted to get out as soon as the picture was taken – after being crushed by six other people for who knows how long.

Here’s one more for you. These young men are clearly having a great time, all dressed up for Halloween.
Now, take a closer look at the tree behind them. Everything seems normal until you see it… Did you figure it out?
When you do – wow! How creepy is that? I would totally freak out if I saw that behind me.
There’s a FACE in the tree! Hopefully, the man is just hiding behind it. If that’s his costume, he definitely went all out!
The last one! There is something off about this family picture. Look at the little girl on the left…. Cute, right?
But where did that hand on her arm come from? Creepy…
Some people have suggested that the hand belongs to mom, but some people believe that the older girl was photoshopped into the picture.
