Logical reasoning and mathematics behave, in a way, like muscles. The further they go without training, the harder it is to use them. And since most of us only trained them back in school – it is normal if we are a bit rusty when it comes to problem-solving.
But worry not, it is never too late to get your mind back into shape! The most fun way to do this is to challenge yourself with a brainteaser, from time to time, to see what you really remember.
Solving things like crossword puzzles or sudoku is a superb exercise for the brain. Which is at least as important as exercising and eating well.

Some time ago, while looking online, I found this next puzzle, and it really made me tear my hair out.
I sat and thought about it for a good while – I tried all sorts of combinations without succeeding. I simply had to check the results.
What is the number under the parked car?
In the picture below, we can see a parking lot. All the parking spaces have a number, but a car is parked in one of them.
The question is: What number is below the parked car?

If you turn around the parking lot, you will see completely different numbers.
What used to be 16, 06, 68, 88, and 98 will instead be 86, 88, 89, 90, and 91.
When you see the picture this way, it is not difficult to figure out that the car is parked on the number 87.
