Our brain is always “blindly” trusting our eyes, trying to interpret what we are seeing as fast as possible. Sometimes, it tries to do it so fast that the information ends up being inaccurate.
But what happens when the eye perceives something that may not exactly be what it seems at first sight? That confusion might be why optical illusions have fascinated us, humans, since time immemorial.
Optical illusions, or visual puzzles as they can also be called, put our senses to the test. They show something that might look completely normal at first, but the more you look, the more new details start coming up.
