But the fact is that your drink of choice tells something about yourself.
According to a new study, G&T drinkers are considered sexier by their peers.
To crave a glass of strong and cold liquor during a bright summer night is what most of us Americans do. Summer goes by so fast it’s important to enjoy every second as much as you can – and there is nothing wrong with a glass of ice-cold alcohol to help you relax and chill.
Sexier – and more aggressive
Apparently, your favorite drink can say something about you as a person.
A study conducted by researchers from Bangor University and King’s College London showed that gin lovers are considered sexier than, for example, wine or beer drinkers.
More than 30,000 people from 21 different countries participated in the study. The participants had to answer questions about drinking habits, thoughts, and feelings.
In addition to being sexier, the G&T drinkers are also considered a bit aggressive, according to Unilad.
Wine lovers are more relaxed
“Understanding emotions associated with alcohol consumption is imperative to addressing alcohol misuse – providing insight into what emotions influence drink choice between different groups in the population,” said the researchers in the MBJ Open Journal.
The study showed people who prefer a glass of wine or a beer are more laid back and relaxed.
Drink moderately
We should always take this kind of research with a pinch of salt. However, it’s still interesting to know what people around you think of you, depending on your drink of choice.
If you want to look a little sexier one day, just order a classic Gin & Tonic!
