Whichever way you look, the world has something amazing to show you: landscapes, nature, cities, cultures, and everything in between. And inside those majestic views, lies humanity. We have permanently influenced the way planet Earth looks, and even though it is not always in a positive way, when it is, the combination becomes breathtaking.
Of course, art may seem strange or difficult to understand for some people – but it is also a clear testament to our individuality. Even if paintings, sculptures, architecture, movies, and such do not pique everyone’s interest equally, there is always a creation ready to blow your mind somewhere around the world.
Some artists can produce a lot from very little. A great example of this is the Japanese artist Akie Nakasta. When we look at a small rock, we usually see a gray, hard lump, just a pebble in our way. For Akie, however, what lies in front is a canvas with endless possibilities – an opportunity to make a masterpiece.
For some time now, she’s been known online for transforming stones into small animals that look impressively realistic. It may sound strange, but you will definitely understand once you see the photos below. Her creations are adorable, and it is impossible not to be surprised.
I could look at these pictures for hours – and would love to get a hold of one of these cute little works of art. Although I usually have a bit of a hard time finding interest in things like this, I admit that this one really blew my mind.
