Buying things on the internet is always a bit of a gamble. The advantage is that you can find great deals without having to leave your home. However, the disappointment can be enormous if the product doesn’t meet the expectations.
Some things, however, I like to shop online, such as electronics. There is not as much to be disappointed with, like the assembly quality, colors and so on – and you can always rely on the reviews from other people.
However, clothes are a little trickier. You have to find the right size, hope that the color is the same as in the photos – and then the final question is whether you can wear that garment as well as the stylish models from the pictures!
Perhaps the biggest advantage of shopping online is that you don’t have to take a single step out of your home, and the options are limitless, but once you make that purchase, you are always gambling a bit.
Don’t order dresses from China
There are countless examples of the bet being lost, by a large margin.
The site Boredpanda has picked the funniest failed dress orders from Twitter – mostly coming from China – but once they arrived it became a huge (hilarious) disappointment!
