Even for an old marriage, it is important to keep working towards making each other happy. Otherwise, it is easy to take the other person for granted and one day you’ll realize when it’s already too late.
Like the couple in this fictional, funny story. It seems they direly needed something to “fire up” their marriage, but what happened instead made me laugh out loud.
The wife’s comeback at the end is amazingly clever – and made the old man eat his own words!
An elderly couple from Wyoming who has been married for over 30 years are working on their garden.
The wife bends over to get out some weeds and her husband takes the opportunity to look at her behind.
“Damn woman, you need to shed some weight! Your ass is about as big as our BBQ grill!”
A comeback from the wife
To add fuel to the fire, the old man grabbed her behind with his hands, and then, without moving his arms, he went over the grill and did the same.
Then he burst out laughing while saying:
“What did I say? Exactly the same size!”
The old lady got very offended by her husband’s joke and decided that her husband could finish the rest of the gardening on his own. She went inside and gave him the silent treatment for the rest of the day.
At night when they got in bed, the old man put his hand on his wife’s leg wondering if they could have some sexy time.
The wife, still mad about the joke, turned her back on him and clearly showed her discontent.
“What’s the matter with you?” He asked.
With a smirk on her face, she answered:
“Do you really think I’m going to fire up this big-ass grill for one little weenie?”
