At 79 years old, Jake had lived a long and happy life. He was now on his death bed, with his wife sitting at the bedside, holding his hand.
Suddenly, the old man looks up and weakly says, “My darling, I have something I must confess.”
The big secret
His wife smiles at the man with whom she had been married to for 47 years.
“There’s no need to,” she soothingly replies.
But he wouldn’t give up:
“No,” he insists, “I need to die in peace. I have to confess: I slept with your sister, your best friend, her best friend, and your mother!”
His wife just calmly nods:
“I know,” she replies. “Now just rest and let the poison work.”
