Eating candy or other snacks usually happened during the weekends when you were a child. As an adult, however, you can choose yourself when, and how much candy, you get to eat.
Sometimes, however, it’s difficult to say no, it’s very hard to keep your fingers away from that cookie jar, candy bag or even picking up the phone to order some Domino’s pizza.
Starting a diet rarely works, it usually ends with broken promises. Now, however, there’s a bracelet that will help you stop eating junk food – by giving you electric shocks, reports 9gag.
The bracelet goes by the name Pavlok and is designed to help its users end their bad habits, whether it’s smoking, fast food or candy.
Get a shock in your wrist
The bracelet works by helping you to, for example, stop eating candy. The idea behind it’s to use a small punishment to get rid of bad habits. The bracelet activates if you fail to comply with your diet or exercise routine. You can even have friends use the app to shock you if they catch you stuffing your face with candy.
Works for everything
It is not only unhealthy eating that the Pavlok bracelet can help to fix. According to the inventor himself, you can also stop smoking, or put an end to shopping sprees, for example.
“Pavlok is your natural and lasting solution to quitting smoking, nail-biting, hair touching, negative thinking, procrastinating, eating sugar, and more. Pavlok is the wearable device that releases a mild electric stimulus to help you reduce cravings, break bad habits, and change your life,” the company wrote on its website.
However, it is anything but cheap to get rid of your bad habits, since the bracelet costs $179.
