There is a new online trend every day, sometimes even two or three – from a new challenge where you pour water on top of your head to a weird choreography on the latest social app TikTok. For us adults, it’s impossible to keep up with these fast-changing times.
TikTok, a mobile app aimed mainly at youngsters, has seen the rise of a new trend in the past few weeks. It comprises tricking viewers with grotesque body defects.
Bizarre eyebrows, crazy hairstyles, or horrible teeth – anything you can use to surprise others goes.
One person who seems to have a good grasp of the basics is Jaqueline Alarcao.
It was in a video on TikTok that this Brazilian girl showed her teeth sticking out and crooked, the whole thing looked painful.
In the clip, however, you can see her amazing transformation.
“Before and after I married a dentist,” she wrote on the video description, according to The Mirror.
Over 15 million views
The change was incredible, from absolute chaos to a shiny, white, and beautiful smile. However, some people had doubts about whether the video was real or an attempt to deceive them.
The clip quickly garnered over 15 million views – and a considerable amount of comments.
“Amazing!! So glad he could fix that for you,” wrote one user.
“Well, that’s a step up!” wrote another.
Jaqueline was trolling
There were mixed reactions, but it turns out that the slightly more suspicious ones were right. In a later clip, Jaqueline showed off her fake teeth.
“I managed to troll you guys!” She stated contentedly.
It seemed too good to be true – and it was.
Luckily though, the real ones were those shiny and white teeth from the last part of the video. The fake teeth were just a harmless joke – but they looked pretty realistic.
