Dildo got overheated – took 22 firefighters to put it out

As a firefighter, you have to face many challenges. It can be anything, from an animal getting stuck on a tree to helping out a person in trouble – and of course, putting out fires.

A fire can go out of control very easily. But the question is whether the firefighters in Mieming, Austria, have ever seen such a strange fire outbreak as the one in today’s story.

The 22 firefighters at the station had to rush out – to put out a burning dildo, reports the Austrian news site Tyrolean Tageszeitung.

It was during a Sunday night that the alarm went off at the local fire station in Mieming. A worried driver called in about a fire alongside a country road. The firefighters, of course, answered the call and sent out their entire force of 22 firefighters.

The firefighters suspected the fire could be from a car tire, something they had experienced before.

But when they arrived at the scene and saw what was blazing, they had a hard time stopping themselves from laughing.

There, laying on the intersection, was a battery-powered dildo burning like it was possessed.

The culprit: A power bank

After the firefighters put out the fire, they could see that the dildo, from the popular brand Womanizer, had started to burn after being connected to a power bank.

Exactly how a burning dildo ended up at the side of the road has not yet been explained, but it has probably been thrown out of a car when it caught fire.

It took firefighters less than 15 minutes to put out the flaming sex toy.

No suspects

The local police have been investigating the case but they are not on the lookout for suspects.

This is because no one was in danger at the time. And it is difficult to find the suspected dildo enjoyer who threw out their toy when it caught fire.
