Parrots are fascinating creatures. They have an amazing capacity for learning, and they often pick up on things that you’d never think animals would be able to handle. And even among these birds, some are so smart that they stand out from their brethren.

A proud owner is filming her amazon parrot Henry walk around on top of his cage.
Suddenly he starts singing (!) Jimmy Buffet’ss classic tune “Margaritaville”. What’s incredible is that you can clearly make out the lyrics, and he almost perfectly nails it.
“Wasting away in Margaritaville,” Henry sings, before taking a short pause. He continues, “Searching for my lost shaker of salt.”
Then the clever bird gets distracted for a second, but the owner steps in and sings a few words. Then Henry gets going at full speed again, and ends the spectacular show with, “But I know, it’s my own damn fault.”
This video has astonished and entertained almost a million viewers. I can’t help but love this little feathered showman!
