When you’re behind the wheel, it’s more important than ever to be considerate and respectful to the people around you. Not only your fellow drivers, but also pedestrians on sidewalks and at crosswalks.
In order for traffic to flow as smoothly as possible, we all need to be watchful, be mindful of the rules of the road and be respectful. The road doesn’t have to be an unpleasant place.
However, too often you run into people who just don’t seem to care about others at all. They only care about me, myself and I – something I just can’t stand.
Some years ago, a couple of boys were filming themselves skateboarding. But they had no idea that seconds later, they would to catch something amazing on film that would make millions of people double over laughing.
Suddenly, they see an elderly lady about to cross a crosswalk. And just then, a fancy sports car driven by a businessman pulls up.
The elderly lady slowly crosses the road at the pace she can manage, but the driver apparently has no patience at all. He disrespectfully starts honking loudly to make the lady go faster.
Sudden turn of events
But then, the amazing little old lady counters in a brilliant way. Now that’s what I call karma! She teaches him that you should respect your elders – always an important lesson – and I think the jerk behind the wheel will think twice before messing with experienced ladies again!

It’s just so darn good – the driver sure got his just desserts!
In the end, the old lady crosses the road unharmed – and I don’t think anyone can argue over who “won” this fight! This only goes to show that you should respect your elders, and don’t be a jerk on the road!
Some people say that this clip is staged. I have no idea if that’s the case, it’s absolutely possible: but in the end, I don’t think it really matters. The video teaches that you should show respect for others on the road – always an important message, especially in this day and age.
