It may be ridiculous or childish to deceive someone for fun—but as long as you don’t go too far, everyone can enjoy the moment.
As people say, shared fun is double fun. Even better if you are in the company of those you care about.
Maureen Pritchard loves shopping online. However, if you ask her husband, Rob, she gets out of control sometimes.
With that in mind, she decided to pull the ultimate prank.
Saved up all her Amazon boxes
For six months, Maureen saved every box she got after buying something on Amazon. However, she hid the boxes well so her husband wouldn’t see them. In addition, the wife asked her family and friends to send all their empty packages as well. This woman’s genius plan was in full motion.
So on the 1st, she put her April fools plan into action. While Rob was at work, Maureen placed all the boxes she had collected for the past six months outside their door. Soon, it looked like she had made the biggest Amazon purchase ever.
When Rob arrived home and saw the boxes, he thought his wife had finally gone mad—he was enraged. In the clip, Maureen is recording from inside the house, but you can clearly see the husband’s reaction after seeing all the boxes—and the despair that followed.
Immediately after asking Maureen what she had done, she told him it was just a joke.
“What did she do now?”
However, Rob didn’t believe it until he opened most of the boxes and confirmed they were all empty.
“What was going through my head was ‘Oh my gosh, what did she do now?” he told CBS.
The couple got a good laugh, and the Facebook post from Maureen has taken the internet by storm. The users seem to agree that this was a hilarious prank!
