Flying can be scary. Although it may be a little difficult to understand for us who don’t mind flying, it’s a very common phobia.
If you refuse to get on a plane, it becomes quite complicated to travel long distances. While some use pills to sleep through the flight, there are others who try to put up with it, while some people just won’t set foot on a plane.
Whether you like flying or not, cabin crews have a big impact on your flight. Their job is to be calm, pleasant and helpful, to make it easier and more enjoyable for everyone.
Flying can be stressful, you are flying thousands of feet above ground and the plane shakes and makes cracking noises, quite scary. But if the staff is nice and takes good care of you, it can make a big difference. Of course, they can do so in several ways, but defusing the whole situation from the start works quite well.
That’s what Frontier Airlines flight attendant, Daniel Sandberg, did the other day before taking off from Orlando to Colorado Springs. He seemed in the best of moods.
“Before assisting your favorite child”
When he was going to read the pre-flight safety demonstration in the plane’s announcement speakers, he chose to do it in a very odd, but extremely entertaining way. It became a stand-up number — and neither the passengers nor the rest of the staff could help but smile and laugh.
“Make sure to adjust your own mask before assisting your favorite child, another passenger, or your husband who is definitely screaming louder than you are. And let’s be honest, only those of you who paid the extra $49.99 get any oxygen,” said Daniel, who started the announcement by referring to two other flight attendants as his wife and his mistress.
It was well received by the passengers.
“Some people can be in a mood when flying so I think this was really great because it made everyone feel happy. He must be the world’s funniest flight attendant!” said the traveler Cindy Kuhn according to USA Today.
