Dogs are amazing animals, it’s hard to think of a creature that can give you more unconditional love than a dog. They create strong ties with us and that’s probably why they hold the title of “Man’s best friend”.
I have experienced this myself having dogs at home when I was a kid. It was wonderful to have a friend always there for you – and my friends loved to visit me as they got to share my dog’s affection for everyone.
Max, our dog, followed us everywhere. He was very sociable and did not like being alone one bit. However, because he was both reliable and obedient, it was okay to bring him to most places.
That’s the way it should be! At least for us dog lovers it is!
I’m of the firm opinion that dogs, like us humans, can feel things like solitude and sadness when you are not home. Of course, you still spend as much time with your pup as possible, but sometimes it can’t be helped.
Couldn’t hide his feelings
Like in this wonderful clip (below). His mom was on a business trip, so dad stayed home with Stanley, who is an Airedale Terrier.
Now the dog obviously had good and loving parents, but he still seemed to be a little bit down, missing his human mom.
That’s why the man called his partner and put her on speaker. When Stanley heard who it was he couldn’t hide his surprise, joy, and excitement. The whole thing was a big emotional bomb – and it’s clear that this dog knew.
This is so cute and heartwarming, also evidence that dogs can feel human emotions.
