One of the most important keys to a long and happy life, is to laugh as often as possible. Of course, you still need exercise and a healthy diet.
Sometimes, laughing is easier said than done, especially if you are feeling down or having a bad day. One of my favorite ways to cheer up is to look for a funny story. There are literally millions online!
This next one made me laugh so much that I cried a little. That’s why I want to share it with you—I hope you enjoy it!
Vanessa was sitting in the bathroom looking through the cupboard for tampons as she was having her period, but she realized there wasn’t any left.
Called for her son Johny
Vanessa sighed deeply. She wouldn’t be able to go to the store without getting blood on her clothes.
But then she had a great idea. Her son, Johny, could go to the store and save her the trouble. So she called for her boy.
“Johny, can you go to the store and buy tampons for mommy? Remember not to use any ugly words, just clearly tell the staff what we need, and they will help you, the mother explained.”
The phone rang
Johny nodded in agreement and bolted to the store—the 10-year-old had a mission.
Time passed without him returning, and Vanessa began to worry about her son. Then suddenly the phone rang. At the other end of the line, was the cashier from the store.
“Hello! Little Johny is here, but we can’t really understand what he wants to buy,” said the cashier.
“Okay? But what did he say then?” Vanessa asked nervously.
“He said he wanted to buy internal insulation for his dad’s favorite toy…”
I laughed out loud at the end!
