One thing that really grinds my gears is people being needlessly noisy in a closed public space. It can be anything from screaming at their friends or playing music out loud to talking on the phone.
It may sound whiny, but it’s not that hard to be respectful and try to keep it low when you’re among other people. Is it really too much to ask?
I’m sure the woman in the following funny story agrees with me. She finally had had enough of a young man talking loudly on the phone and took matters into her own hands.
An older was riding the bus back home after a long, tiring, and hard day at work. The bus was full, but the lady was hoping she could still take a quick nap in her seat.
Nevertheless, the man sitting next to her pulled out his phone, dialed a number, and the lady’s nap was gone.
Starts shouting on the phone
While everyone else on the bus just wanted to relax and have some peace, this young fellow did not care one bit about keeping it quiet and continued loudly talking on the phone.
“Hello baby! It’s Michael!” He screams.
“I’m on my way. I just got on the bus!”
“Yes! I know I’m late! I’m sorry, but we had a meeting that just kept dragging on!”
“No, baby! Not with the blonde from accounting! With my boss! I swear!” Screams the man.
“Yes! Yes, baby! You’re the only woman in my life! I swear! I love you so much!”
The lady’s revenge
Ten minutes passed, but the man continued talking on the phone with the same loud and obnoxious voice. The people on the bus were giving him angry looks, but he didn’t seem to care or notice.
The lady next to him had had enough. She slowly leaned toward the guy, then quickly grabbed his phone and whispered into the thing with a sensual voice:
“Michael… come here, baby. Get back in bed and warm me up. It’s so cold without you…” and then hanged up.
The man, breaking a cold sweat, looked towards the front of the bus with a pale face, put his phone away, and remained quiet for the rest of the trip.
