Police work is though, the force is the foundation of our society – all my encounters with officers have been nothing but pleasant, but I understand that is not the case for everyone. We live in a split society and the road to peace is a long one, that’s why police work is even more important nowadays.
Of course, there are always a few bad apples in all professions, but I think we should still respect the police as long as they don’t infringe on our rights as Americans. Most of them are trying to keep us safe and away from danger.
Is not all bad though. By interacting with the community, cops get to have fun sometimes – like when the police of Montreal came across Simon Laprise’s work.
It had snowed a lot on the Eastern part of Canada, so to come up with something fun to do, Simon Laprise, 33, decided to create something with the snow that had fallen outside his house.
The police were fooled
With his hands and some time, the man built the famous trademark car from Back to the Future – a real scale snow DeLorean. It took five hours to complete – which then became a nice attraction in the neighborhood, writes Bored Panda.
One day, however, a couple of officers were passing by – and came across his impressive build. After stopping to check the car’s plates, they realized they had been fooled, so they decided to prank him back. They got out of their patrol car and left a “ticket” on the DeLorean’s windshield.
However, to his surprise, it said that he had made their night – followed by a long laugh and a smiley face.
In the end, everyone got a good laugh thanks to the police’s funny intervention – and of course, the beautiful creation remained until the temperature rose again. Check the video from CBSDFW Below!
