However, it is something you usually try to do in private, when you know you are alone. Farting when others are present is considered rude. No one wants to smell someone else’s stinky farts… Or do they?
Apparently, some people actually love it, something that 31-year-old Stephanie Matto has used for her own financial gain.
She earned over $100,000 in a couple of weeks – by selling jars with her farts inside, reports US Magazine.
Stephanie Matto was a participant in the reality show “90 Day Fiancé” where people from different countries marry each other during the course of the show.
A beans and eggs diet
Riding on her exposition to fame, Stephanie has taken part in a rather unlikely, but lucrative, career.
Stephanie sells her farts. In a clip online, you can see the 31-year-old proudly showing off a jar containing her gas.
“A day in the life of a girl who sells her farts in a jar!” says in the description under the clip.
To maximize the “smell”, Stephanie eats foods that the rest of us skip to not make our loved ones suffer.
A steep price for a jar of farts
Buying farts is not for the faint of heart, however, Stephanie makes around $1,000 per fart jar.
Taking into account her success, Stephanie has made over $50,000 in a single week with her unique business idea.
“I think I’ve really tapped into a huge market, and there seems to be endless potential,” she told Buzzfeed.
