We are still on quarantine/isolation, things are calming down but we won’t know for sure until we get more information. Hopefully, good news will arrive soon. But worry not reader, we are here to take your mind off these difficult times.
To get your brain clear and sharp, so you don’t get bored out of your mind staying inside all day, we need some good ‘ol brainteasers.
Things like crosswords, sudoku, and riddles give our minds a different form of stimulation than when we are working, studying, or just mindlessly watching TV.
Since I was a kid, I always loved testing myself by solving some puzzles – not only is it fun, it’s also good for your health!
With that in mind, I thought I would share these 2 puzzles that I found on the website Bright Side earlier today. I think these are just right – not too easy, not too difficult.
Can you solve these puzzles?
Finding a good puzzle always gets me in a good mood, I love to challenge my friends to see who can solve it first. It brings up the competitive instinct in everyone!
In the first challenge, there has been considerable traffic congestion at an intersection. However, it’s enough if only one car moves, so the others can get on with their travels. Only a few people find the answer right away.
Can you figure out which car needs to move first?
Now think for a second and don’t rush with your answer.
Have you figured it out? Congratulations then, however, are you sure?
I had to think for a while before I was completely sure of what car movement would fix this traffic congestion.
Okay, are you ready for the answer?
The answer is car 3 must move first (by reversing)!
Then the others can just keep driving!
Which container fills up first?
Okay, on to the next challenge!
This one might be a little harder, but if you give yourself some time, I’m sure the answer will come to you.
Can you figure out which of these containers will fill up with water first?
In this challenge, it is important to have an eye for details.
There is a tube connecting most of these containers. Some are blocked, but you probably already noticed that.
Take your time, it’s important to focus for this one.
Okay, are you ready for the answer? Make sure you pick a container before you check!
The answer is that container F will fill up first! Check again if you picked another one and you’ll see it.
