There are weird relationships, like when someone is dating someone much older, or when monogamy goes out the window. However, these are nothing compared to some relationships that just escape common sense.
Thankfully, we live in a world where, as long as is within the confines of the law, you can love whoever you want, but it is impossible not to be surprised (and a bit disgusted) when you hear about a 25-year-old man who dated – and fell in love with – a cockroach which he named Lisa.
Yuma Shinohara, who is passionate about insects, thinks his girlfriend was hotter than any woman he has ever seen – and this Japanese young man had dreams where he made love to her, writes The Mirror.
We have previously written about Emma, who is in love with a tree – but being attracted to a tree pales in comparison to today’s story. Yuma Shinohara, 25, fell in love with Lisa – a cockroach.
100% serious about the relationship
Lisa, as Yuma calls her, was his “first love”, he says with a lot of determination. He also claims that she’s hotter than any human woman he’s ever seen.
Besides, according to himself, their relationship was 100% serious – and he even dreamed of having sex with the cockroach, reported The Mirror, referring to an interview with Asian Boss.
Things took an unexpected turn when this man – who is a advocate for consuming insects as an alternative to meat – ate Lisa. It was the obvious option for him to eat Lisa when she died, he claims.
The cockroach had a short life
“The day she passed away was difficult but I knew it had to come since she was a cockroach with a short life span,” Yuma said.
“So now Lisa lives in my heart and continues living as part of my body,” he added.
He is not afraid to talk about the sexual attraction he felt when Lisa was alive.
“She was hotter than any woman I’ve met. I dreamed of having sex with her. Either with me as an insect or her in human form. However, I knew that it was not possible,” he said, according to the newspaper.
