One of the biggest problems in America today is salespeople over the phone. They call many times during the day and want to sell you everything you can imagine, often with a lot to say, even if you are not interested.
The smartest thing to do with telemarketers is telling them not to contact you again and hang up, but sometimes it’s easier said than done.
Of course, we should always be respectful to salespeople, they are just ordinary people trying to do their job to the best of their ability, like everyone else. However, it is easy to run out of patience when the calls never seem to end, and the salesperson keeps talking and talking.
Annoyed by a stubborn salesman
It’s important to keep your cool even if you feel annoyed. If you keep a positive mentality, then you might turn any situation into something creative and funny instead.
The mother in this clip is a prime example of that. A stubborn salesman who wouldn’t stop calling her was getting on her nerves.
But instead of the usual “stop contacting me” conversation, she chose another path.
Handed the phone over to her baby daughter
So when the salesman called again, the woman handed the phone over to her daughter and let her handle it.
The problem? Her daughter can’t articulate words yet.
The conversation was, therefore, a funny mix of babble and noises, but you can still imagine the shock on the face of the person on the other side of the line.
Furthermore, it’s super cute when the little girl takes over the phone and imitates how “grown-ups” talk.
