Birds and cats are two animals that rarely get along. If you have a bird at home, you should definitely not let a can inside and vice versa, they are predator and prey by nature.
But as it’s always the case with our beloved animals, they never cease to amaze us.
This clip about a parakeet and a sleepy kitten is a clear example of that, so adorably cute!
When we are kids, we learn that some animals do not match well with others. The most common cases are probably cats and dogs or cats and birds.
Refute old stereotypes
But the older you get, the more you come to realize the truth. The fact that some animals can’t be in the same room probably has more to do with the animals’ individual personalities, instincts and how it was raised than the species they belong to.
That birds and cats can’t get along is an old truth, after all, they are natural enemies.
But sometimes our animals are smarter than we give them credit for and can refute old stereotypes.
Two good buddies
Take, for example, the bird Uchan and the cat Chama. No matter how unlikely it may sound, these two are the best of friends, which you can see in the clip below.
Like two good buddies, they caress each other and in this clip, Uchan wants to play while Chama feels more like sleeping. But Uchan just won’t give up.
