New fashion trends are usually difficult to understand. The clothes models wear on fashion shows look like they were designed by an alien race – but the question is whether this summer’s new swimwear lives up to the expectations.

Shinesty is the company behind this… unique new garment – which is basically a speedo with a denim print.
These swim briefs, with names of different American cities such as Daytona, Houston, and Jacksonville, consist of 88 percent polyester, 12 percent spandex, and are available in different denim prints.
“Smooth on your gear”
The swimwear comes in sizes S to XXL; however, according to the company, the clothes are quite tight and they recommend you buy a size larger than usual.
The company itself also describes the garments as “quick-drying, soft and smooth on your gear, fully lined with an elastic waistband and drawstring that holds everything in place.”
“Everyone will look with disgust”
Furthermore, the company described the garment as:
“It is like eating a bag of chips in church. Everyone looks over at you with disgust, but deep down they want some too. And if you’re really risky you’ll combine those last 2 sentences, eating a bag of chips in church while wearing this denim swimsuit.”
