My guess is that most of us at some point had one too many tequila shots and got really “close to the light”.
It can be a pleasant experience, since partying with good friends is wonderful, but when you wake up the next day, another shot is not exactly what you are looking for.
Now, however, there’s an almost irresistible experience that will get your inner partying beast going. The Tequila brand Jose Cuervo has started a new train line in Mexico. Pay for the trip, and you get access to an open bar – with an unlimited tequila supply.
The train runs between the cities of Guadalajara and Tequila. The trip takes three hours, according to the Delish site.
If you make your booking via TravelPirates, tickets start at $111, so hurry and get ready to embark on this luxurious and amazing experience.

Full speed on the tequila train
The ticket includes (most importantly) an open tequila bar, expert tasting, return trip, a tour of the Jose Cuervo distillery, and a Mexican cultural show.
The distillery La Rojeña is one of the oldest in America, and has been active for over 250 years – and there you can learn about the manufacturing process and enjoy the special environment.
Once back on the train, however, it’s the drinking that needs our focus again – and should you have the opportunity to visit Mexico briefly, then this is the perfect quick escape.

There is not a single boring second on this train! Definitely better than any Amtrak trains I have ridden on!
