Christmas is almost upon us, it’s time to decorate the tree. To many, this means to officially start the Christmas season.
But for cat owners, the Christmas tree usually means more than just a fun and honorable tradition. It means that our kittens get to play with the Christmas ornaments, which often ends in having to buy new ones every year.
Now, however, the solution for all cat owners is here — a “Parasol” Christmas tree, according to the site Ladbible.
The 6ft specially designed “half Christmas tree”, has its branches high enough to keep your cat claws far away from low-hanging ornaments and decorations.
“Let your tree survive the Christmas”
The cat and child-friendly tree costs 33 pounds, equivalent to a bit over $42, in the Argos department store chain.
According to them: “Keep your perfectly placed baubles, bows, and bells out of reach of curious, crawling kids or your cats’ playful paws. And if Santa’s been extra generous, there’s plenty of room to stack pressies underneath rather than scattering them around it. It’s also a great alternative to the traditional tree if you’re tight for space.”
An immediate success
If you feel the traditional green is not for you, there’s also the “snow-covered” option.
This innovative tree was an immediate success and has received an incredible 4.8 stars (out of 5) in reviews from satisfied customers.
I personally would love to have such a tree at home. It may not look traditional, but my cats won’t be able to destroy it minutes after I set it up!
