Laughter heals the soul, your body feels light and your day gets better. It doesn’t matter what situation we are in, or how awkward a conversation is going, a good joke can get everyone back to smiling.
Just hearing someone burst into laughter get’s me in a great mood. Happiness spread through the air and when someone is having lots of fun close to you, it’s almost impossible not to get involved.
I remember many times laughing so much with my friends that we couldn’t stop; it was like a chain reaction of laughter. Even if our stomachs were hurting afterward – it was beautiful!
Perhaps the most contagious thing is a funny laugh – proof of this is the clip (below), seen by over 26 million people. The funny video clip is from 2006 and has become a real classic online.
“A very contagious laughter”
It all began in the kitchen of a house in Nyköping, Sweden, where Kjell-Åke Andersson and his family were having dinner. Little William, his son of about half a year old was laughing.
Dad was making silly noises – and little William thought it was the funniest thing in the world.
“William is cheerful and most people think he is unusually happy. It’s rare to see him serious or angry”, Kjell-Åke told Aftonbladet.
“We uploaded the movie so his grandparents, who live far away, could watch, we didn’t expect this much of a response. It’s amazing. People have recorded the laugh to use it as a ringtone”, he said.
